Travel Logistics to Aspen

Here are some ways to get to Aspen.

Fly direct into Aspen. There are several cities with direct flights into Aspen, without going through Denver. Aspen is currently serviced by the following airlines:

Fly into the Eagle-Vail airport which is the more reliable airport. This would then require a 1-1/2 hour shuttle/drive (70 miles) from there to Aspen using Colorado Mountain Express (800-525-6363), or another shuttle service. Eagle is currently serviced by the following airlines:

Fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) and either catch a shuttle with Colorado Mountain Express, rent a car, or catch a connecting flight using United Airlines. It is a 4-hour drive (220 miles) from Denver International Airport to Aspen.

Fly into Grand Junction, Colorado at Walker Airport (GJT). This requires a 2-1/2 hour (125 mile) drive to Aspen.

Check with your travel agent for airlines serving these locations.

Taxis, Limos and Shuttles
Scheduled and chartered services are available from Denver International Airport (DEN), Grand Junction's Walker Field (GJT) and Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) directly to your lodging. We recommend arranging ground transportation prior to your airport arrival.

Colorado Mountain Express is Colorado’s ground transportation leader. Providing daily shuttle service with frequent departures to and from Denver International (DIA) and Eagle County Airports (EGE) to most lodging locations. During the entire winter season, CME offers the GREAT RATES program for parties of 3 or more traveling together. A family of 4 can transfer to and from EGE for just $46 per person each way and $91 per person each way from DIA.  For reservations and more information contact CME at (800-525-6363) or visit www.ridecme.com.
